Frank Magnotti

Frank Magnotti, President and CEO

Frank is our CEO and responsible for the growth of Fluitec. Frank holds P&L responsibility and reports to our board. Previously, he was founder of Comverge (NASDAQ: COMV) and President of the company's Clean Energy Solutions Group. Frank Magnotti began his career with Bell Labs, the research and development arm of AT&T, holding research, program management, strategic planning and general management positions during his 14-year term, culminating with the founding AT&T Bell Labs' Utility Solutions Division in 1991. In 1995, Frank Magnotti began his tenure as General Manager of Lucent Technology, Inc.'s (ALU) and was responsible for utility development, project management and profit and loss. From there, Frank Magnotti joined Comverge, a subsidiary of what is known today as Acorn Energy Group (ACFN). Today, Comverge is the leading full-service demand response firm, serving both the residential and commercial/industrial markets. Frank Magnotti has served as both Vice Chairman and Chairman of the Demand Response and Advanced Metering Coalition (DRAM). He holds B.E. and M.E. degrees in Mechanical Engineering from the Cooper Union School of Engineering. He is also a Certified Lubricant Specialist by STLE.

Greg Livingstone, Chief Marketing Officer

Greg manages Fluitec's Marketing and Science & Technology teams. He also spearheads the company's highly successful Lubrication Academy courses. Greg has been involved with lubrication contamination control and condition monitoring for the last two decades. He's a Certified Lubrication Specialist and past-chair of ASTM D02 CO1 on Turbine Oil Analysis and Problem Solving, Society of Tribologists and Lubrication Engineer's Power Generation and Wind Energy Councils. He has over 40 papers published across a wide range of industry leading publications.

Jo Ameye, General Manager, EMEA

Jo leads our business teams in Europe, Middle East and Africa out of our office in Antwerp, Belgium. He has more than 25 years in the condition monitoring of hydraulic and industrial lubrication markets and works closely with global OEM's in the Power Generation Industry and Oil and Additive companies. Jo is co-chair of ASTM Subcommittee on Turbine oils and Oxidation and also active member of STLE, ELGI, NLGI, and DIN. Jo frequents all corners of the globe where his expertise in condition monitoring is well acknowledged. Jo is a biochemical engineer by training and has dozens of published papers to this name. He also completed his education with the General Management program of the Vlerick Leuven Ghent Management School and has is a Certified Lubrication Specialist by STLE. He speaks German, French, Dutch, English and Spanish.

Mike Borden, General Manager, Americas

Mike leads our team in developing and supporting customers throughout the Americas. He started his energy career as a graduate research assistant at the California Energy Commission, Conservation Division in 1979 before moving to Pacific Gas and Electric Company in 1984. For the next 11 years, Mike worked on increasingly higher profile projects involving wholesale electric rates, the gas supply management, the gas transportation, the power plant fuels management, and long term wholesale power trading. In 1995 Mike initiated the real-time power trading group for Panhandle Eastern Corporation (now Duke Energy) in Houston while also developing new combined cycle gas power plants. In 2000, Mike moved to Cogentrix Energy to develop power plants before taking on a prominent role at Comverge, a leading demand-response company.

Pierre Vanderkelen, General Manager, Asia Pacific

Pierre leads our team in Asia Pacific out of our office in Singapore. Pierre holds a Masters in Nuclear Engineering, a post-graduate degree from Solvay Business School and an MBA from IESE Business School. After having worked in the nuclear department of Tractebel Engineering (GDF-SUEZ) for the Belgian nuclear power plants, he joined the sales team of the Power department, where he was responsible for the business development of thermal and renewable projects mainly throughout Europe, Middle East and South America. As a Summer Associate, he also worked on a strategy consultancy mission for a major aeronautical corporation in the Middle East. He speaks French, Dutch, English and Spanish.

Brian Thompson, Executive Vice President of Business Development

Brian leads our global business development efforts, based out of our headquarters in Jersey City, New Jersey. He has an extensive background in engineering and chemistry combined with over 13 years of experience in the lubricant and testing industry. Brian was formerly the manager of a leading U.S. commercial oil analysis laboratory and this experience provides high value to our laboratory partners. Brian holds a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration and a Masters of Science in Management. Brian is also a Certified Lubrication Specialist, the past Chairman of the STLE Cincinnati Section, the current Chairman of ASTM D02.CS96.5 on Particle Counting, and is actively involved in numerous other professional organizations.
