Fluitec has developed a consulting service called LASER – Lubricant Assessment, Survey, Evaluation and Recommendations.  The LASER survey involves a detailed information gathering process at the customer’s plant, and then a comprehensive report discussing a wide range of fluid concerns, depending upon the customer’s objectives.  Fluitec is contracted to provide a LASER service for several reasons, including:

• Assessment of the plant’s current maintenance practices and recommendations on best practices
• Evaluation of the plant’s current fluid conditions and recommendations on an optimum condition monitoring and maintenance program depending upon these conditions
• Determination of the plant’s maintenance practices and fluid condition prior to a plant sale/acquisition
• Independent fluid analysis or system inspections for warranty claims
• Root cause analysis of fluid problems
